Reese's first airplane ride

Sunday, Jeff, Reese and I flew to Corpus Christie.  Jeff is here for business and Reese and I tagged along for a few days.  Reese and I leave tomorrow.  Reese was the best baby on the airplane.  She was great.  She was laughing and giggling on the plane.  Everyone on the plane was amazed with her.  They said they have never seen such a good baby.  Lets hope she does just as good on Tuesday since I will be flying alone with her.

Jeff and I took Reese to Port A. on Sunday.  She loved the beach.  We got some great pictures of her.  We walked up and down the beach.  She loved looking at the waves.  She is talking so much now.  We can not keep her quiet.  She says dada and oh all the time.  Of course she still happy screams.  I am amazed with how she can grab her finger foods now.  About a week ago, she was having trouble getting them in her mouth but now she gets her yogurt melts and puffs in her mouth with no problem.  Last night Jeff gave Reese so bread to eat and lets just say she is her mother's daughter.  She loves bread.  We had to take it away from her.

This morning I took Reese on a walk by the bay.  She loves walking,  it was very windy.  I do not like what Corpus Christie has done to my hair.  We were excited that we got to see Jeff at lunch today.  Reese and I met him at subway.  It was like a 2 minute walk from the hotel.  Reese is napping right now so I have a few minutes to myself.

Still no teeth.

Rolling over is the new crawling

Today, Reese has decided she will roll to her toys.  This morning I went in the kitchen to make her a bottle and came back and she was on the other side of the living room.  I was in shock.  How did she get there?  Reese was trying to roll to the kitchen.  She will roll over and over until she get to where she wants to be.  It is the cutest thing I have ever seen.  Of course, I am her mom so everything she does is cute to me.  I am not sure if she is going to crawl or continue to roll everywhere but she is now on the move.  I think it is time to baby proof the house.  I now know I can not leave her alone for a second.

Dallas

This past weekend Jeff, Reese, and I went to Dallas.  Friday night we stayed with Kerry and Lucas.  We were glad we got to see them.  Went to dinner that night with 11 people.  Reese was not being her perfect self since dinner fell right during her bedtime.  Jeff and I had to take turns holding her.  We were the only couple that had a child.  It is always a weird thing when you go to dinner with a bunch of people and you are the only ones with a child.

Saturday morning we went to our friends house.  Jason and Vandy were great host.  Reese had a great time.  She loved playing with Arden.  Arden is 6 months older than Reese.  They would hold hands and hug.  It was very cute.  At lunch Reese at crackers for the first time.  She seemed to love them.  I was nervous about it.  We had a great weekend with friends and family.

Reese stills has no teeth and is not crawling.

Reese the fish

This weekend Jeff and I took Reese swimming.  Reese and I went Friday night.  Jeff went with us on Saturday morning.  Reese loves the water.  She got so excited when we were getting in.  She kept try to put her face in the water.  She thought this was funny.  My favorite part of swimming was when she kept splashing her daddy in the face.  She would immediately start laughing.

After we went swimming we came home and Reese took an extra long nap.  I think the sun wore her out. I love when she takes long naps. Jeff took me to one of  my favorite steak houses for dinner.  I love Texas Roadhouse.  I love there rolls. I think I could eat the rolls for my dinner and no I am not joking.  I love love bread.

Sunday we did a lot of relaxing which was much needed.  Reese still has not gotten a tooth in yet.  Not sure if it will ever come in.  When put Reese to sleep she now is rolling on her tummy.  We find her in the mornings on her side or her tummy.  I love it.  She looks up at us with a big smile and starts laughing.  She is truly the happiest baby.

Lots to catch up on...

Okay, I have lots to share sorry I have been behind in posting.  Reese celebrated her first 4th of July.  Jeff and I bought her the cutest 4th of July dress.  She looked adorable.  Jeff and I went out the night before the 4th with some friends.  It was nice to have dinner and adult chat.  Aunt Kelly babysit Reese for us.  After dinner Jeff, Vandy, Jason, and I went to Jakes to have a few more drinks since we were all kid less.  I think I had one to many.  I felt them the next day. Jeff had to take care of Reese for me.  He is such a great daddy.

On the 4th of July we hung around the house until about 5ish then we went to my parents Lakehouse.  Everyone was loving on Reese the minute we got there. Nobody cared that we were there.  Everyone wanted Reese. She loved all the attention she was receiving from everyone.  I was so excited for Reese to watch the fireworks, I was glad it was getting dark.  There were tons of fireworks shows on the lake.  Reese loved every minute of the fireworks.  She kept reaching out to grab the fireworks.  We finally went home around 9:30.  She fell alseep in car it was great.

In other news,Reese is sitting up so well now.  I am sure she will be crawling soon.  She is starting to say "dada".  Jeff is so happy that this is going to be her first word.  It is very cute when she trys to say it.  She is now eating yogurt. I have given her blueberry and apple. She stills loves everything type of food.  I am amazed since I am so picky.  I think she has Jeff eating habits.

Tonight,  Reese and I went swimming at my parents house.  She loves being in the water.  She is fish.  She kept kicking her feet like she was swimming all on her own.  She would put her hands in the water and splash us.  She thought this was so funny.  I did too.  I think we could have stayed in the water all night.
